ISLAMABAD (PPI): Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Monday adjourned the session of the National Assembly (NA) to meet again tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11:00 am without transaction of business on the demise of the sitting Member National Assembly (MNA) Mumtaz Mustafa.
Taking the floor, Minister for Law and Justice, Azam Nazeer Tarar expressed grief and sorrow over the death of sitting MNA Mumtaz Mustafa. He said Mumtaz Mustafa was a prominent lawyer and a good speaker.
Opposition Leader Omar Ayub Khan paid tributes to the services of Mumtaz Mustafa saying that he was a kind and humble person. He said the entire House is aggrieved over his death.
Other members also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Mumtaz Mustafa, and prayed for the departed soul. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) MNA Mumtaz Mustafa died of a heart attack on Monday, the National Assembly Secretariat said.
