The Sajag Citizens Alliance of Naseerabad protested on Thursday for the sixth consecutive day against the incomplete construction of the Taluka Hospital. The protest was led by Senior Vice President Sufi Ghaffar Channa, Asif Katheo, Didar Kokar, Habib Solangi, Kamran Laghari, and other leaders. Citizens participated in the demonstration, holding banners and placards against the health department and their elected representatives.

Addressing the gathering, the leaders said that the Sajag Citizens Alliance is protesting for the restoration of the Taluka Hospital and against the shortage of doctors and medicines at the rural health center. However, the elected representatives are not willing to take notice of the issue. They stressed that the Taluka Hospital is a symbol of life for the citizens of a population of hundreds of thousands, but even after fifteen years, the hospital’s construction work has not been completed, due to which citizens are facing severe difficulties.

The leaders clarified that the protest movement will continue until the remaining work of the hospital is completed. A large number of political and social activists and citizens participated in the protest.
