National boxer Aslam laid to rest in Pishin

PISHIN: National boxer Aslam was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Pishin on Monday.

According to detail, the body of national boxer was brought from Karachi to Pishin, and after offering funeral prayer, he was laid to rest amid thousands of mourners in his ancestral graveyard.

The district administration officers, political activists, social personalities and a large number of area people attended his funeral prayer. It is pertinent to mention that Boxer Aslam Khan died after receiving accident punch of his rival boxer Wali in a fight held in a local club of Karachi.

Khan alias Bhae Jan had been taking part in boxing fights since 2007. He won gold medal in 64 kilogram category during the year 2017 and won heavy weight title in 2020.
