LARKANA: A 24-year nursing student, Amar Chand Oad, allegedly committed suicide Friday at his home located in Murad Wahan locality by shooting himself with a pistol over money matters with his parents.
Khubchand, the father of the deceased, told newsmen that his son was doing a nursing course at Liaquat University of Medical Sciences’ Nursing College (LUMS), Jamshoro. He said that his son had a quarrel at home today over money matters after which he became angry and then shot himself and ended his life. His body was, however, handed over to the heirs after fulfillment of necessary formalities.
His body was shifted to the Emergency Department of the Chandka Medical College Hospital where doctors confirmed his death.
