In a significant move to bolster educational opportunities, the Professional Education Foundation (PEF) has teamed up with NUST to host a fundraising event at the NUST Main Campus, Islamabad, on February 11, 2025.

The event, themed Rahbar-e-Taraqqi-o-Kamal, underscored a shared mission to empower students with scholarships, drawing support from philanthropists, donor organizations, and corporate leaders.

According to a statement by National University of Sciences and Technology today, the evening featured a networking dinner and a Qawwali performance, both sponsored by PEF. Ms. Arooba Gillani, Director Advancement and Head of Global Engagements, kicked off the event by outlining NUST’s scholarship initiatives.

Hafiz Ul Haq, Chairman of PEF, articulated the shared vision with NUST to advance national progress through education.

Dr. Rizwan Riaz, Pro-Rector for Research, Innovation and Commercialization, concluded the event by highlighting the crucial role of industry-academia partnerships in educational excellence.

The partnership between PEF and NUST aims to provide partial scholarships to students in need. Thus far, 551 students have benefited from this collaboration. With ongoing partnerships and contributions, NUST and PEF are dedicated to nurturing future leaders and fostering societal advancement.
