Three people, including two teenagers, were killed and two others seriously injured in three separate road accidents in Okara.
Thirteen-year-old Shahid Ali died on the spot from a head injury after falling from a tractor-trolley near village Amli Moti. The emergency rescue team handed over the body to the heirs after completing the necessary procedures.
In another incident, 13-year-old Muhammad Ahmad and 30-year-old Muhammad Amir were seriously injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a rickshaw near Pir De Hati. Overspeeding and lack of headlights on both vehicles were stated to be the cause of the accident. Rescue workers provided first aid and shifted the injured to a medical center.
In the third incident, a tractor-trolley loaded with mud fell into a ditch after a tire burst near 9 Chak Farmwala. 25-year-old laborer Shahid died on the spot after being crushed under the overturned vehicle. The rescue team retrieved the body and handed it over to the heirs.
