On the direction of IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan, operations are underway across the province for violating the national action plan

Lahore, July 18, 2022 (PPI-OT): On the direction of Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan, non-discriminatory actions are being taken across the province for violating the rules laid down in the National Action Plan and strict action is being taken against the violators.

IG Punjab has directed all the supervisory officers of the province to ensure full compliance of National Action Plan under personal supervision and to make the process of monitoring banned organizations more effective. Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that the SOPs issued by the Home Department regarding the collection of sacrificial skins on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha should be strictly enforced and the collection of skins by renaming or any other illegal means should be strictly enforced.

Prohibited organizations trying to be brought to justice. IG Punjab said that delay in taking action against the violators of Tenancy Registration, Loudspeaker Act and Wall Chalking is not tolerated. Rao Sardar Ali Khan directed that the details of all tenants and property owners should be registered in the local police station. He stressed upon to continue search, sweep, combing and intelligence based operations on daily basis in all districts on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

A spokesman for Punjab Police said that Punjab Police is in action against violators of Tenancy Registration and Loudspeaker Act across the province. Violating the Tenancy Registration and Loudspeaker Act across the province this year, 7627 cases and 11756 people have been arrested.

A spokesman of Punjab Police said that 4285 cases and 7761 people were arrested against violation of Tenancy Ordinance across the province whereas 3342 cases and 3995 people were arrested against violation of Loudspeaker Act across the province.

A spokesman for the Punjab Police said that 1888 cases and 3791 people have been arrested for violating the Tenancy Act in Lahore while 1084 cases and 1103 people have been arrested for violating the Loudspeaker Act in Lahore. A Punjab Police spokesman said that on the direction of IG Punjab, priority operations against law breakers would continue across the province.
