Pakistan and the European Union have reached a significant accord aimed at amplifying the nation’s involvement in premier European research and innovation initiatives, marking a pivotal step towards fortifying their bilateral knowledge partnership.
According to a report by MOIB today, The consensus was achieved during high-level discussions between Rahim Hayat Qureshi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, and Andreas Schwarz, Head of Cabinet to the EU Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation.
The meeting, which took place in Brussels, concentrated on strengthening the strategic academic and scientific relationship between the two entities, particularly within the distinguished Horizon Europe framework.
Both delegations committed to exploring and establishing new mechanisms designed to facilitate greater integration and participation for Pakistani institutions in the EU’s extensive research programs.
