Pakistan has urged the international community to develop a concrete roadmap to address the political and humanitarian crisis in Yemen, stressing the need for diplomatic efforts and global cooperation.
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Munir Akram informed the UN Security Council that the Yemen conflict has become a multidimensional issue with global consequences. He emphasized the need to accelerate efforts to resolve the crisis through diplomacy and a collective response.
The ambassador also called on donor countries to increase their contributions to the 2025 Humanitarian Response Plan for Yemen, underlining the importance of international support in addressing humanitarian challenges.
