Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal, addressing the Health Device Association, said that Pakistan can be developed not by loans, but by giving Karachi its rights. He emphasized Karachi’s importance in national development. He said the key to the country’s progress lies in empowering Karachi, not in seeking financial aid.
The health minister also stressed the importance of strong moral values in leadership.
He also mentioned the improvement in the medical device registration process, which is now completed in just 20 days instead of 3.5 years.
Prominent medical professionals were also awarded lifetime achievement awards at the event.
