Pakistan Navy’s Karachi rescue operation in full swing

KARACHI: The rescue operation of the Pakistan Navy is in full swing on Tuesday amid the floods and torrential rains in different parts of Karachi.

The Pakistan Navy, in collaboration with the Sindh Disaster Management Authority, provided all possible assistance in the flood situation caused by the recent torrential rains and assisted the civil administration in rescuing the locals trapped in the flooded houses and relocating them to safer places.

The Pakistan Navy used its resources to drain large amounts of rainwater. Pakistan Navy personnel reached different areas of Karachi including Sher Shah, Saddar, Lyari, Buzrata Line, Punjab Chowrangi and Maripur and took part in relief operations. Pakistan Navy remains always ready in the current situation. The Pakistan Navy has always been at the forefront of disaster relief operations.
