The Pakistan national women’s baseball team secured a place in the medal round of the Fourth Asia Cup Women’s Baseball Qualifiers 2025 by defeating Iran and Sri Lanka.

On the second day of the ongoing tournament in Thailand, Pakistan defeated Iran by 17 runs to 2. Despite visa issues, the team displayed exceptional determination. Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, Secretary General of the Pakistan Federation Baseball, stated, “This is our first victory, and we will give our best in the next match as well.”

Pakistan achieved a 10-5 victory against Sri Lanka in the second match. On this success, President of Pakistan Federation Baseball Shaukat Javed, Chairperson of the Women’s Wing Sadia Alvi, Secretary Ayesha Aram, and others congratulated the team.

With this success, Pakistan has aimed to reach the semi-finals. Special congratulations were extended to team leader Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, team officials, coaches, and players.
