A high-profile visit by parliamentarians to the National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) in Islamabad has sparked significant discussion regarding the readiness and efficiency of current monsoon response strategies.

During the briefing, it was revealed that a substantial evacuation effort has been undertaken, with 600,000 individuals already moved from vulnerable areas to more secure locations.
