The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday intercepted a passenger attempting to travel abroad on a passport with a fake exit stamp at Karachi Airport.
A passenger named Mohammad Akram was barred from boarding a flight to Thailand after the revelation was made by FIA Immigration officials.
The discrepancy was noted on the immigration exit seal in Mr. Akram’s travel document.
Later, an official review, comprising forensic analysis and a system record check, confirmed that the seal was counterfeit.
Based on these findings, FIA personnel took immediate action, halting the individual’s travel plans.
