PDMA releases Rs330m for 15,000 registered families in North Waziristan

PESHAWAR: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released three hundred and thirty million rupees for the fifteen thousand registered families in North Waziristan districts.

According to a spokesman of PDMA, the funds would be distributed within the next few days. The amount will also be distributed among seven-thousand recently repatriated families from Afghanistan. Director General PDMA said the amount is regularly distributed among the affectees from terrorism to overcome their financial difficulties.

Under the package, 12,000 rupees would be distributed per month among families repatriated from Afghanistan, while a ration allowance of 8,000 rupees per family would be distributed through the registered SIM card.
