People facing historical inflation and unemployment: Bilawal

KHAIRPUR: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that politics of extremes is not carried every time advising PML-N leaders to adopt politics of patience adding that Maulana Fazalur Rehman is entrusted with a huge burden to keep all allies in PDM together and not to allow minor differences to damage the alliance.

Addressing a press conference at Jilani House on Saturday, the residence of former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah in Khairpur, the PPP Chairman said that some people in his party were of the opinion that some PML-N people don’t feel happy on PPP’s success like PTI’s. “We are happy when the PML-N wins so should be they,” he said adding that he was sure that Maulana Fazalur Rehman would play an impartial and serious role to strengthen PDM.

Bilawal said that the victory of Yousaf Raza Gillani had shaken Imran Khan as he lost his majority in the National Assembly and his countdown had begun. This was the ripe time to demolish the puppet governments in Islamabad as well as in Lahore through no-confidence motions.

He said that it was unfortunate that many days had passed since the Senate elections but only PPP was being criticized. “Only the PPP is opposing the puppet government, while the friends of the opposition are only criticising the opposition thus benefiting Imran Khan.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari criticized the PTI government as they had made big and hollow claims before coming to power including lollypop of 10 million jobs, 5 million new homes and solving all the problems facing the country in 100 days. “Due to the incompetence of this government, it was failing everywhere.

He said that we had opposed the PTIMF from day one, and because of which Pakistan is losing its sovereignty today. PTIMF has brought State Bank of Pakistan under serious attack in the form of an ordinance, which prefers independence of SBP over the independence of the state.

The PPP Chairman said that this situation was surprising given that despite being rich in resources, Pakistan was not able to compete even with the economically war-torn country Afghanistan, which has a better growth rate and lower inflation currently. The situation that our country is facing today has never happened in the past. Today, every Pakistani carries a debt of 175,000 each. People are facing historical inflation and unemployment, poverty is increasing, but the government has no solution to these problems.

Talking about multiple failures of the puppet government in foreign policy, Bilawal said Pakistan was not even invited to a conference on environment by the United States. Plans like CPEC have also been put on the back burner.

He further said there had never been such a confused Prime Minister on the issue of Kashmir in the history of Pakistan like Imran Khan. “When India makes a historic attack on Kashmir, trying to turn the Muslims there into a minority, the selected Prime Minister says what should I do.”
