MASTUNG: Engineer Aisha Zehri, Assistant Commissioner, Mastung has said that people must point out artificial inflation and shopkeepers accused of selling expiry items so that legal action could be taken against them.
These views were expressed by her while paying a surprise visit to Mastung city here on Friday to see whether price list issued by the district administration was being implemented or not. She said that artificial inflation during the holy month of Ramadan would not be tolerated, adding that instructions had already been issued regarding implementation of price list issued by the district administration. On the occasion, four shopkeepers were arrested and sent to Central Jail Mastung on the charges of artificial inflation.
