Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today reiterated the government’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for investment and business activities, emphasizing the role of the business community in driving economic progress. Addressing leading businessmen in Islamabad today, he assured them of continued consultation to facilitate economic reforms and development.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the contributions of the business sector in creating employment opportunities and strengthening the economy. He underscored that ongoing economic reforms would be carried out in collaboration with industry leaders to accelerate progress.
Members of the business community expressed confidence in the government’s business-friendly policies. They commended the establishment of the National Seed Development Authority, aimed at ensuring the supply of quality seeds for the agricultural sector. Participants also lauded the Green Pakistan Initiative and highlighted the global recognition of Pakistan’s IT industry due to supportive policies.
During the meeting, business representatives shared suggestions regarding different sectors. The Prime Minister directed relevant ministries to engage with industry stakeholders to incorporate their feedback into policymaking.
