Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has vowed to intensify efforts against human traffickers following the tragic death of four Pakistani nationals in a boat capsizing incident off the Harawa Coast near Sirte, Eastern Libya.

Sharif expressed his deep sorrow on his X timeline, reacting to reports from Pakistan’s mission in Tripoli confirming the deaths of four Pakistanis among 11 casualties in the tragic incident.

The Prime Minister assured that Pakistan’s Mission in Tripoli and the Foreign Office are collaborating with local authorities to ensure the retrieval of the deceased’s remains.

He emphasized that the Government is taking decisive steps against those who deceive citizens into embarking on perilous journeys, committing to continue the crackdown to prevent further family tragedies.
