LAHORE:Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided not to hold further public rallies as Section 144 has been imposed throughout Punjab, according to a report on Tuesday.

The ruling PML-N has temporarily suspended its public engagement campaign and announced that the party will not hold any more jalsas for now. Section 144 has been enforced in Punjab prohibiting all kinds of public gatherings.

It may be noted that the section 144 has also been imposed in Sindh and Islamabad on Tuesday amid Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) call for the long march on May 25.
