Police arrest drug dealer, recover 1.34kg hashish

HYDERABAD: Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a drug dealer and recovered 1.34kg hashish in a raid in the city.

 

On the orders of SSP Hyderabad Abdul Salam Sheikh, the anti-drugs operation is being continued against the accused involved in social evils within the limits of Panyari police.

 

A Paniari police team, headed by SHO Inspector Abdul Karim Abbasi, raided area near Liaquat Bridge at Noorani Basti and arrested accused drug dealer Adnan, son of Qamar Abbas Punjabi.

 

The police claimed to have recovered 1.34kg hashish from the possession of the arrested accused. They have registered a case against the accused and started further probe into the case.
