An armed encounter between law enforcement and suspected dacoits on Cattle Colony Road No. 08 on Monday resulted in the arrest of one suspect in an injured state, while a second individual is at large.
Sukhan Police Station officials have identified the arrested person as Nadir Shah. He was taken into custody following the exchange of fire, during which his alleged accomplice managed to evade arrest and flee the scene.
Following the incident, officers seized a pistol with ammunition and a motorcycle used by the suspects.
Shah has been moved to a medical facility for treatment of his injuries. Authorities in Malir District have initiated a formal investigation into the matter, and efforts are underway to locate the fugitive suspect.
