A 24-year-old alleged dacoit was killed during an encounter with law enforcement agencies in the city’s Orangi Town area.
The fatal incident occurred on Wednesday near a shrine in Block D of Sector 11 ½, Altaf Nagar, within the limits of the Pakistan Bazaar police station.
Authorities identified the deceased as Muhammad Farhan, son of Muhammad Istiqbal.
Following the encounter, the young man’s body was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital via an Edhi ambulance.
