KARACHI: A police officer was martyred in the firing by an alleged kidnapper in Karachi on Tuesday.
According to police, the accused was allegedly abducting a girl in the car. The Shaheen Force officials stopped the vehicle and started interrogating the suspect when incident happened.
A bitter conversation took place between the policeman and the accused on which the suspect opened fire at the police official and fled from the scene. The girl however managed to escape. The police have started search for the fleeing accused. The postmortem of the martyred police officer was conducted at a local hospital. The doctor said the police officer was shot on the head with a 9 mm pistol.
