Positive policy making will lead to economic revolution: Expert

KARACHI:Patron -in-Chief of United Business Group (UBG) SM Muneer said Saturday that as a nation, we needed Pakistan to rise above all differences and make collective struggle to bring country out of economic crises to stand on its own feet and become an economically strong.

Talking to members of UBG on the occasion of Eid, he said that due to the positive policies of the present government, GDP was increasing rapidly and the good news was that Pakistan’s rating was improving globally.

Despite the coronavirus outbreak, the situation in Pakistan was improving and exports were boosting, he said. The business leader said that UBG had enhanced the prestige of FPCCI during its five years in power and alleged that those who entered the Federation House through backdoors had tarnished the image of FPCCI.

Muneer said that positive policy making would lead to economic revolution in Pakistan and the country would move towards development. He said that the Punjab business community had the most significant role in the country’s economic stability. The business community of Sindh, including Karachi, is our asset, he added.
