PPP Garhi Yasin workers complain to Bhutto leader’s graves

Larkana:The dispute between two PPP factions of Garhi Yasin Taluka activists surfaced when one faction took out a rally from Garhi Yasin, which reached the Bhutto mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bux on Thursday, where participants complained to the Bhutto leaders’ graves about highhandedness of another group.

They held a protest demonstration without observing social distancing and shouted slogans in favour of their demands while holding party flags and placards in their hands. They were led by former PPP Taluka President Abdul Hafeez Pirzado and participated by Haji Nazar Muhammad Soomro, Bashir Soomro, Habibullah Bhutto, Ahmed Nawaz Solangi, Yaqoob Bhatti, Ihsan Kehar and others.

They complained to the Bhutto leaders graves that they were staunch workers of the PPP who had been neglected by so-called current office-bearers. They alleged that PPP Taluka Garhi Yasin office-bearers Ghulam Mustafa Mangi and Javed Durrani had escaped after getting millions of rupees from unemployed young men of the tehsil in the name of giving them jobs and since past four years, they had not seen the face of Garhi Yasin but they were still posted as party’s office bearers due to which name of the party had been very badly defamed.

They said that today they had come to make a complaint against them and tell the party’s top leadership Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, MPA Faryal Talpur and Sindh Chief Nisar Ahmed Khuhro to remove such corrupt office bearers and to save the party from further disintegration.

While talking to newsmen, these leaders further alleged that since the last four years PPP Taluka Garhi Yasin President, Ghulam Mustafa Mangi, had disappeared as he obtained millions of rupees from innocent jobless educated people in the name of getting them jobs and his house had been occupied by others.

They said general secretary Javed Durrani cut a Rs10 cake to celebrate 67th birthday of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto along with irrelevant persons which we strongly condemn. They said party workers had been left helpless and nobody is listening to their grievances.

They urged party leadership to take notice of the “imposed” office bearers, remove them immediately and appoint an organizing committee or else, they warned, they would be forced to spread their protest across the province.
