ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Shaykh Mahmud Effendi, the great scholar and sufi of Turkiye.
In a condolence tweet on Saturday, he said Shaykh Mahmud Effendi was a teacher of thousands of Ulema and Mashaikh and devoted his life to Islam. The President offered his condolences to the people of Turkiye and his followers throughout the world.
