Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over the record-breaking remittances from overseas Pakistanis, which surpassed the four billion dollar mark in March.

Gratitude was extended to expatriates for their significant contributions to economic stability. The State Bank of Pakistan reported that remittances reached an unprecedented 4.1 billion dollars in March, pushing the total remittances for the current fiscal year to 28 billion dollars.

The Prime Minister highlighted that these record remittances demonstrate the dedication, passion, and trust of overseas Pakistanis in the national economy. He emphasized that this level of confidence in government policies marks overseas Pakistanis as a valuable asset.

Shehbaz Sharif conveyed that the nation takes pride in the efforts of hardworking overseas Pakistanis and assured the government’s commitment to providing all necessary facilities to support them.
