Quetta:Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan directed Senior Member Board of Revenue and Secretary S and GAD to submit proposals for amending Rules of Business with regard to posting transfer of administrative officers.
Chairing a high level meeting here on Tuesday, he assigned the task to concerned authorities for submitting proposals regarding provision of offices, accommodation and other facilities to officers at divisional and district level.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan said problems of the people would be addressed if administrative officers demonstrated better performance.
“More responsibility rests on Assistant Commissioners than other administrative officers while dealing affairs pertaining to law and order situation, monitoring of development schemes, launching anti encroachment campaign and price control, thus, the newly appointed Assistant Commissioners will have to show their performance during their probationary period”, said Jam Kamal Khan. He said a mechanism would be chalked out to monitor the performance of district officers.
