Protest held for recovery of missing family members including children

NAUNDERO:A municipal employee, along with his colleagues and relatives, held a protest demonstration outside Benazir Bhutto Press Club Wednesday for recovery of his wife and four children who left home 13 days ago and disappeared mysteriously.

The protesters, including family chief Abdul Sattar Dayo, Ashique Dayo, Asif Dayo, Tarique Dayo, Muharram Soomro, and Shakil Mirani demanded help from the authorities concerned for the recovery of the missing persons.

Sattar Dayo told newsmen that despite passage of 13 days, police had entirely failed to recover his wife and children which means they had taken no concrete efforts to recover them, hence, was unjust.

He said his wife Islam Khatoom, 14-year Sadaf, 10-year Azad, six-year Muhammad Ali and three-year Fatima left his government quarter located within Rest House 13 days ago and they were still missing.

He said he lodged a report at Naundero police station and distributed pamphlets from Karachi to Kotri but their whereabouts are still unknown. He said Naundero SHO is neither willing to help him nor is taking serious efforts to recover his children and wife. He said his children had either been swallowed by earth or eaten by sky because police had done nothing so far to recover them. He demanded that higher authorities should take notice of the issue and resolve it.
