PTI demands probe into damaged infrastructure in Quetta

QUETTA: Sain Safiullah Khan Kakar, provincial leader, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Balochistan, has called on the authorities to conduct fair and impartial inquiry into damages caused to the recently erected structures and drainage system of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) near Black Diamond hotel area in Quetta.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said that the recent heavy downpour in Quetta, not only destroyed the entire drainage system but also demolished the structures erected in DHA scheme near Black Diamond hotel area in Quetta.

He said in the area plots were to be allotted to the allotees after depositing the fee, but the recent downpour not only demolished structures but also badly damaged the sewerage system of Defence Housing Authority Schemes. He said billions of rupees were spent on these futile projects, hence, he added that the matter needed to be investigated thoroughly and action against the responsible souls was required to be taken after fixing the responsibility.

Kakar called on the authorities to conduct fair and impartial inquiry into damages caused to the recently erected structures and drainage system of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Black Diamond hotel area of Quetta and take strict disciplinary proceedings against administration of DHA, including contractor of the project.
