PTI government should bridle their tongues: Shazia Marri

KARACHI:Central Information Secretary Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians and MNA Shazia Atta Marri said on Wednesday that spokespersons of PTI government should bridle their tongues while talking about opposition despite focusing on their government’s performance.

She added that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had shown the government a mirror on their government’s poor performance and instead of being obstinate, PTI should bring reforms in itself. She said that PTI government’s spokesmen should refrain from vicious attempts to target 18th Amendment in defense of their incapability and incompetence.

This she expressed in a statement issued here today. Marri questioned the ruling government that ‘is the PPP or the Sindh government responsible for bringing the annual inflation rate to 14% in the country’? She said that inflation would break its own records in the country when hoarders were being patronized by those who included in the ruling government.

She further said that chicken was being sold for more than Rs 400 per kg and just in one year, electricity bill prices had been risen by up to 29% which had made life difficult for the common man.

She added that Imran Khan had maintained the tradition of taking frequent U-turns and reading history wrongly or misquoting it and he was only roaming around the world by carrying kashkuls which was causing defamatory for the country.

Marri added that it would be written in the history that an agricultural country took charitable rice from a country where rice is not cultivated at all and PTI government borrowed billions of dollars and squandered it on corruption as the result, today every Pakistani is indebted with Rs0.2 million in the country.
