ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has presented a cheque to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the Turkey earthquake victims.

According to a report on Tuesday, the chief minister handed the cheque to the premier at a meeting.

Earlier in the ongoing year, thousands of people died in earthquakes in Turkey, leaving a trail of destruction.

The first earthquake on February 6 that hit southeastern Turkey and northern Syria measured a magnitude of 7.7 and a second, a little later, measured 7.6. The region has been rocked by more than 9,000 aftershocks since.
