In Shikarpur, the protesters, holding placards and banners in their hands, marched through city roads and gathered at Shikarpur Press Club where they staged a demonstration and raised slogans against the issuance of bogus domiciles to aliens. They demanded to check of bogus domiciles in other districts as the inquiry team collected the proofs only from six districts of Sindh province.

The protesters further said that it was a conspiracy against natives of Sindh that allowed non-natives to get domiciles and PRCs and occupied the resources and jobs of the people of Sindh while Sindhi youths had been deprived of their rights.

They demanded of authorities concerned to immediately reject the fake domiciles of the people who originally belong to other provinces and de-notify their jobs given to them on the basis of such fake papers without any delay and the legal action must be taken against the involved. The protesters alleged that domiciles were being issued on bribe by the revenue officials, especially the Deputy Commissioners who are not Sindhis and belonging to other provinces.
