Srinagar, August 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, people took out a rally in Mendhar area of Poonch district in Jammu region, today, in favour of retention of the Article 35-A of the Indian Constitution that grants special privileges and rights to the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said that around 600 people took part in the protest rally. While calling for retention of Article 35-A, the protesters raised pro-freedom slogans in the main town. The Indian Supreme Court will hear the petitions challenging the constitutional validity of Article 35-A on August 31.
