Renowned Urdu and Seraiki scholar Arshad Hussain Arshad passed away in Multan at the age of 84, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in the literary and cultural world. The esteemed scholar was laid to rest today, where hundreds gathered to pay tribute to his significant services.

A joint condolence meeting was held in Islamabad by “Dayrah” and the World Seraiki Congress. Led by Dr. Ghaznafar Mehdi, the gathering saw notable figures like Mazhar Arif, Subtain Raza Lodhi, Sadia Kamal, Nair Sarhadi, and Wafa Chishti paying heartfelt tributes and appreciating Arshad’s six-decade-long dedication to the world of literature.
