QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, has accorded approval for release of Rs70 million to improve sewerage system, clear choked points and remove encroachments from flood channels in Quetta, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Wednesday.

Directing Jabbar Baloch, Administrator, Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, for improving sewerage system in Quetta, the Chief Minister issued directives to him to clear choked points and remove encroachments from flood channels in Quetta on war footing basis.

Talking to PPI, Jabbar Baloch, Administrator, Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, said a comprehensive plan had been devised to improve sewerage and cleanliness systems in Quetta city for good, adding that work to clear 47 choked points in Quetta would soon be launched.
