The Pakistani rupee maintained relative stability in the open market on Wednesday, with minor variations recorded against leading foreign currencies, according to figures released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP).
The US dollar closed at Rs280.23 for buying and Rs282.09 for selling.
The euro was quoted at Rs317.25 for buying and Rs320.43 for selling.
The pound sterling ended at Rs370.43 for buying and Rs374.06 for selling.
In the regional currency segment, the UAE dirham settled at Rs76.26 for buying and Rs76.98 for selling, while the Saudi riyal closed at Rs74.50 and Rs75.17, respectively.
The Japanese yen stood at Rs1.92 for buying and Rs1.97 for selling.
