Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) head Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair expressed deep concern and strongly condemned the alleged police operation for violating the sanctity of the home during a meeting with Sunni Tehreek leader Sarwat Ejaz Qadri. These discussions took place during Dr. Zubair’s, who is also the head of the Milli Yakjehti Council, significant visit to the provincial capital on Sunday. Earlier, a JUP delegation led by Dr. Zubair met with Mufti-e-Azam Pakistan Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman. The meeting, which was also attended by Sahibzada Dr. Uzair Mahmood Al-Azhari, Allama Aqeel Anjum Qadri, and Qazi Ahmed Noorani, involved a detailed discussion on the country’s overall situation, the role of religious institutions, and the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah.
Several important figures attended the meeting with the Sunni Tehreek leadership at Markaz Ahl-e-Sunnat. The JUP was represented by Central Vice President Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Sindh President Allama Aqeel Anjum Qadri, and Karachi Youth Wing President Rao Abdul Rehman. On behalf of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Central President Sahibzada Allama Bilal Abbas Qadri, Central Coordinator Muhammad Tayyab Hussain Qadri, and Karachi Division Information Secretary Imran Qadri, among other officials, were present.
At the end of his visit, Dr. Zubair, accompanied by Qazi Ahmed Noorani and Dr. Uzair Mahmood Al-Azhari, visited former MPA Abdul Rehman Rajput at Tibbiya Hospital. The delegation inquired about the well-being of Mr. Rajput, a member of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan Sindh Executive Committee, and offered special prayers for his speedy recovery.
