The administration implemented strict security measures for the mourning processions and Majalis held in the city today on the occasion of the Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali.
A Majlis-e-Aza was held at the central Imambargah Luqman, which was addressed by Allama Zulfiqar Ali Larak.
After the Majlis, the central procession emerged from the same Imambargah. The procession was led by prominent personalities Khawaja Aal Ali, Adnan Khawaja, Shakeel Rehan, Professor Mumtaz Haider Abidi, and Syed Yasir Ali Shah Badshah and others.
The mourners passed through various designated routes of the city, and the procession concluded at the Ja’fariyah Mosque located on Station Road.
In a separate program, another procession was taken out from the Anjuman-e-Haideri Imambargah. This procession proceeded along its designated route and returned to its starting point for the conclusion of the rituals.
