The security forces killed 17 India-backed militants on April 27-28, which were among 71 terrorists killed near the Pak-Afghan border, in a series of successful operations from April 25 to 27, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Monday.
It said, following the successful engagements by the security forces in North Waziristan District (NWD) from April 25-27, 2025, during which 54 khwarij were sent to hell; on night April 27-28, 2025 night, a deliberate sanitization operation was conducted in surrounding areas of Hassan Khel, NWD, along Pakistan-Afghanistan Border.
It said during the conduct of the operation, 17 more khwarij, who were operating on behest of their Indian masters, were hunted down and successfully neutralized. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed khwarij.
