Marvi Khurshid Malik, the 35-year-old daughter of prominent Peoples Party leader Senator Sherry Rehman, has passed away after a brief illness.
The cause of her untimely death is reported to be a brain hemorrhage. Ms. Khurshid had been ill for several days and was undergoing treatment for the past five days.
Senator Rehman has confirmed the tragic passing of her daughter. Ms. Khurshid was being treated at a private medical facility where she was moved to a ventilator three days ago after her condition worsened.
On this news, President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Senator Rehman’s daughter.
The President prayed for the forgiveness and high ranks of the deceased. He also prayed for patience for the bereaved family.
