Residents of the federal capital today brought forward pressing complaints, prominently featuring allegations of land encroachments, during a public forum held by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Operations.
The open court, conducted by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza at his office, was organized under an open-door policy aimed at providing immediate resolution for public concerns, in line with special instructions from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
SSP Raza attentively heard the petitioners and subsequently instructed the appropriate officials to initiate legal proceedings on the submitted applications. He mandated that the actions be completed within a specified timeframe and a follow-up report be submitted.
During the session, the SSP Operations emphasized that the Islamabad Police maintains a zero-tolerance stance against violence targeting women and children, affirming that delivering maximum relief to the populace stands as a foremost priority.
He further stated that the supremacy of the law would be upheld under all circumstances. Every individual possesses equal rights, and all petitions will be adjudicated on merit, he assured, adding that the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity is of paramount importance.
