KARACHI: A Sindh Food Authority conducted an operation in Baldia Town area, fines were also imposed on several food establishments for poor sanitation and use of substandard cooking oil, while improvement notices were also issued and the people associated with food items businesses were asked to obtain licenses from Sindh Food Authority..
The action was taken on the direction of Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain and this action was supervised by Deputy Director District Kemari Bashir Khan.
During the operation, the team inspected several hotels, restaurants and fast food centers.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Director Sindh Food Authority District Keamari Bashir Khan said that indiscriminate action was being taken against the sellers of adulterated food items and this action was being taken under the direction of Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain.
