SHCC sets up complaint cells three hospitals

KARACHI: The Directorate of Complaint of Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) has established complaint cells at Liaquat University Hospital, MK Hospital and Rajputana Hospital Hyderabad.

 

The complaint cells set up through the joint efforts of the respective healthcare facilities and the SHCC are being set up to address the queries and concerns of patients, healthcare establishments and healthcare providers. It will also bridge the gap between general public and SHCC.

 

The Directorate of Clinical Governance and Trainings conducted hands-on training on Sindh service delivery standards for Primary Health Care Centers and clinics. Representatives of 16 clinics from South and Malir districts attended the session.

 

The role of infection prevention and control, healthcare waste management and application of COVID-19 protocols at clinics was emphasized. Participants appreciated the efforts of SHCC in providing training and vowed to further improve their setups to fulfill the required standards.

 

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) SHCC paid visit to Ojha Campus of Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) to check its COVID-19 Vaccination procedure and found the procedures as per standards. He met with Shehzad, Dr M Ali, Dr Kishore and Dr Aisha and appreciated the efforts of their team during corona pandemic.
