Significant decrease in the price of gold and silver in local and global markets, per tola gold cheaper by Rs 43,600

A dramatic decrease was seen in the value of gold in domestic and international markets, and a major drop of Rs 43,600 in the per tola price was recorded.

After this significant decrease, the new price of one tola of gold on Monday became Rs 447,762. At the local level, this decrease reflects the sharp drop in the global market, where the value of the precious metal fell by $436 to $4,250 per ounce.

Similarly, the price of ten grams of gold decreased significantly by Rs 37,380, after which its new price became Rs 383,833.

This bearish trend also affected other precious metals, the price of per tola silver in the country decreased by Rs 800 to Rs 6,884.
