A ceremony was held for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi and the Center for Culture and Development (C2D)/Gandhara Resource Centre Pakistan to promote mutual cooperation.

The purpose of this agreement is to foster joint efforts in the fields of culture, arts, research, and training. Under this memorandum, both institutions will highlight Pakistan’s cultural heritage and ensure the welfare of artists. This collaboration will serve as a means to strengthen cultural relations at both local and international levels.

The ceremony was attended by Sajjad Hussain, Director of Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi, Deputy Director Muhammad Shakoor, Assistant Director Sarfaraz Khan, Assistant Director Waqar Ali, and Sarah Mahmood, Director of Gandhara Resource Centre Pakistan, along with other representatives. Both institutions termed this agreement as a significant milestone for the promotion of arts and culture.

Under the MoU, workshops, seminars, cultural festivals, art exhibitions, and other educational and research activities will be organized. The aim is to leverage the professional skills and resources of both institutions to promote mutual interests.
