Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori today emphasized the urgent need for a common global strategy to address the effects of climate change, describing the challenge as a concern for all of humanity during a high-level diplomatic dinner hosted by Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong.
The remarks were made during an event hosted in the governor”s honor, where he and his diplomatic staff extended a warm reception to the provincial leader.
The engagement featured detailed discussions on significant matters including bilateral Pak-China relations, mutual cooperation, and the promotion of investment, alongside the critical topic of environmental challenges.
Governor Tesori assured attendees that all possible support is being extended to foreign investors in Pakistan, with the stated aims of stabilizing the nation”s economy and expanding employment opportunities.
On his part, Consul General Yang characterized the friendship between Pakistan and China as exemplary and enduring, noting that it continues to strengthen over time. He identified the meeting as a significant step toward making their mutual relationship more effective and robust.
The Consul General also commended Governor Tesori”s public welfare initiatives, specifically mentioning the education and training programs for youth and his overarching development vision for the province.
