Sindh minister pays surprise visit to Larkana uplift work sites

Karachi:Provincial Minister for Works and Services Syed Zia Abbas Shah Sunday paid a surprise visit to the ongoing development projects in Larkana. During his visit, he expressed anger over the delay in five ongoing development projects under the provincial building sector that include Larkana Circuit House, Judges Lodge, Food Courts, Commissioner Additional Block and Sports Complex.

Instructing official to complete the ongoing projects as soon as possible, Shah said that in case of further delay, disciplinary action would be taken against the engineers concerned later, the minister also visited the ongoing road construction and paving projects.

Praising the road development work and related engineers, he said that the construction of highways had a positive impact on the economy. Shah further said that the connection of remote areas with the cities facilitates employment for the local people.

He said that laying roads across the province would further boost the economic activities while the construction of roads would help the locals in transportation and promotion of business activities. After the visit, the provincial minister presided over a high level meeting in Larkana and issued orders on the occasion.
