Six suspects involved in flour hoarding arrested

Islamabad, March 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): Islamabad capital police Khanna police team apprehended six accused involved in flour hoarding and recovered 873 bags of flour from their possession, a police public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in different illegal activities.

Following these directives, the Khanna police used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending six accused involved in flour hoarding and recovered 873 bags of flour from their possession. The accused were identified as Nasir, Hayat Khan, Zahir Khan, Abdul Mateen, Ismail, and Naseer Ahmed. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

CPO/DIG Operations Islamabad Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari appreciated the performance of the police team and further directed all officers to intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
